How to hang your hammock correctlyUpdated 8 days ago
Short version
For our standard models, the ideal distance between two anchor points is about 3–4 meters.
The recommended seat height is around 40–50 cm above the ground. The hammock should hang loosely, not tightly stretched.
Distance & height – the basics
– Distance between anchor points: approx. 3–4 meters
– Seat height: approx. 40–50 cm above the ground
– The hammock should not be pulled tight, but have a comfortable sag
A slight sag increases comfort and helps reduce stress on the material and suspension.
What if the distance is longer or shorter?
– If the distance between anchor points is greater, we recommend using a hammock extension to safely bridge the gap.
– If the distance is shorter, the attachment points should be set higher to maintain the correct angle.
This ensures a comfortable setup and optimal load distribution.
