Moonquilts: Overview, Differences & Choosing the Right ModelUpdated 12 days ago
Ever spent a chilly night in a hammock? If so, you're familiar with the phenomenon: even inside the best sleeping bag, the underside often gets surprisingly cold. This happens because your body weight compresses the insulating layer beneath you ("Cold Butt Syndrome").
An underquilt hangs underneath the hammock from the outside. This creates an insulating air cushion that is warmed by your body heat and keeps the cold out—without any slipping sleeping pads.
In this overview, you will learn everything about the specifications and differences of our four Moonquilt models to help you find the perfect match for your adventures.
