The Ridgeline is more than just a cord. It acts as the backbone of your hammock setup: it ensures a perfect, consistent sag every time, keeps your gear within reach, and saves your setup when trees are too far apart.

1) How it works (Smart, knotless adjustment)

Made from high-strength UHMWPE material, the Ridgeline uses a clever physical principle of self-fixation (just like a Whoopie Sling). It is an adjustable, high-strength cord that is tensioned directly above your sleeping area between both ends of your hammock. 

• Under tension: As soon as there is weight in the hammock, the outer braid tightens around the inner cord – holding rock-solid without any knots. 
• When slack: As soon as there is no tension on the line, the braid loosens, allowing you to slide the loop effortlessly for millimeter-precise adjustment. 

Benefit: Quick, secure, and completely tool-free customization.

2) Constant comfort (The perfect "sag" every time)

Once adjusted to your favorite length, the Ridgeline permanently determines the ideal curve of your hammock. 

• Gives you the exact same laying angle every single time you set it up 
• Helps you find the perfect diagonal position instantly for a deep, restorative sleep 

Benefit: The angle remains exactly the same, completely independent of how tight your suspension is pulled.

3) Savior for wide tree distances

When trees are 6 or 7 meters apart, setups usually get tricky and extremely taut. 

• Keeps your hammock in its ideal curve even when the outer ropes are under high tension
• Eliminates the need to climb up high to attach your straps to the tree trunks

4) "Bedroom" organization

The Ridgeline utilizes the empty space directly above your sleeping area perfectly.

Pro-Tip: Put a flashlight inside the organizer – the fabric acts as a diffuser for cozy, ambient light.

💡 Good to know 

As a rule of thumb, the Ridgeline should be about 83% of your hammock's total length. Use the step-free adjustment to find your personal comfort level!
